Ask if they know about the Tea Party Movement Consider what happened in the November 2, 2010 election! Ask them to get involved – we’ve already made a HUGE difference and will continue to do so. Use an emotional approach - Do they want to tell their grandchildren that they were a Patriot who helped turn America around in 2010? If they adamantly want to get involved – get their phone number and give it to a Springfield 912er or bring them to a meeting. Join - The Well Fed Neighbor Alliance - (WFNA) You should do this irregardless of anything else you do! If an event happens and trucks are no longer able to get into our community, We only have a 3 day supply of food in the pipeline for Missouri. We can no longer feed OURSELVES! Missouri politicians on both sides of the aisle are coming on board with WFNA as they realize how fragile our food situation is. WFNA is apolitical. "He who controls the food, controls the people.” We MUST be self-sufficient! We need to have personal, neighborhood, community, and area gardens. Do it yourself or join with others. The Well Fed Neighbor Alliance has tons of information about accomplishing this. Check out their website at Well Fed Neighbor Alliance Call them if you cannot figure out how to grow a garden – they have all kinds of ideas and would love to help. Call them if you can add a benefit to their program. GROW LOCAL – EAT LOCAL! Join the 1,000 Gardens Project. Have gentle discussions with your friends over coffee/dinner. If they want to help but do not want to get involved. Ask if you can give them a call before the elections to let them know who the Tea Party People are voting for. Keep an ongoing list in your purse or wallet. Call them 2 weeks before the election. Email them the list of candidates to vote for. Give them a ride to vote if they need it. Contribute Get a copy of the video America: From Freedom to Fascism from Thom Taylor (417-343-0055) or Schuyler (pronounced Skyler) Blue (417-763-8072). A suggested donation is $1 but once again do not let cost deter you. They will give them to you for free. After watching, get others to watch with you or loan it to them. Encourage them to do the same with their contacts. After watching – give them some action ideas. Attend SW Missouri Patriot events – The Springfield 912ers, we keep our website updated with what is going on in SW Missouri. This will help keep you encouraged and in the loop as to what is going on. Network with others. Ask for action ideas from them. Sign up on the website and let your Representatives know you support the Fair Tax. Join the Young Conservatives of America - Monthly meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of the Month. | We are trying to SAVE AMERICA to be what our founding fathers intended! Do not be shy. This is DIRE. Do not fall for the LIE that this is hopeless, or not possible. Respond STRONGLY when others tell you that it is not possible. See the Tea Party Movement statistics as PROOF. Watch for the statistics of this year’s National Rallies. The numbers will be HUGE. Share them. For every one person who goes to Washington – there are ten more at home who feel the same way but could not attend. AT THE VERY LEAST – if you do not have time but you do have money, CONTRIBUTE to finance those who are doing something. Be encouraged – you are not alone – you got these action ideas and others are getting them too. Let people know: In Revolutionary times 1/3 of the population were Patriots, 1/3 were Loyalists (Tories), and 1/3 were “undecided.” It took less than 10% of the Active Patriots to carry off the American Revolution.
